The Governing Body supports the school in all its activities and many governors are closely involved with the life of the school. Governors are either elected by popular vote (parent governors, staff governors, teacher governors) or appointed by the local authority, or co-opted from the local community by the governors themselves.
All governors visit regularly and work with the staff to ensure that standards remain high and curriculum provision is broad and balanced and that our excellent premises and facilities are well maintained. Copies of the minutes of meetings are available from the school.
