Read Easy

The national Read-Easy organisation to which Exeter Read Easy is affiliated aims to provide free, one-to-one coaching sessions to any adult with no or poor reading skills to enhance their lives, job prospects and confidence. The coaches are all trained volunteers, and the sessions take place usually twice a week for half an hour at a time, at a location and convenient for the reader. The scheme used is phonics based.
